From Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31 October #OpenDesignAfrika will be celebrating the power of creativity and humanity through our global design champions, unsung heroes and changemakers; as we share stories, learn together and get inspired to unlock greater potential and aspirations for a thriving future!
Small is Massive!
Through a series of global dialogues, followed by virtual coffee sessions; we will bring exciting Inspirators together with our global audience so that you can get inspired by their personal stories that touch the lives of a few, a community, city, country, continent or globally.
Today we call on Afrikans and the world to action small seeds of change everywhere. Today we have to write the most important design brief in the history of humanity; it is time to rise in solidarity with our global neighbours and Inspirators for action!
Open Design Afrika is presenting our 8th annual and first fully virtual festival and we invite you to RISE with us, get inspired, participate, share and learn how to action change and transformation so that we can collectively design a future we all desire. Rise to your own potential as a change-maker. In a world characterised by transition, change and adaptation, now more than ever, the role of design should not be understated. We believe this year’s festival could not be more timely.
