This year ‘the MAAK’ have teamed up with ‘Our Workshop’ and ‘Amy Rusch’ for the facilitation of their annual ‘Design & Make’ program; Follies in the Veld (FITV). This years Follies in the Veld has been themed around ‘waste’ with Tetra-Pak chosen as the primary building material. Every year participants of the program (starting on the 9th Nov) deep-dive into the world of making while they explore the architectural potential of a different material and site to create a large scale spatial intervention.
In line with the theme and material choice for this years FITV (Waste/ Tetra-Pak), this informative and interactive ‘waste washing’ activation aims to make people more familiar with the realities (and potential) of working with waste through the experimental lens of Follies in the Veld.
BRING ANY USED TETRA-PAK WITH YOU! (even if you are not going to engage with the activation)
